Robby Nelsen-Youth Leader -Welcome: “We would like to welcome you to our trek opening fireside. I want to thank Sierra Chapman and our youth council for the prelude music and brother Crowther for all his hard work getting the music together for this evening. Our opening song will be our trek theme song for this year ”whatever it takes”…sung by the youth council, and then our prayer will be given by Shelby Peterson

Robby Nelson - We will now turn some time to Brother and Sister Larsen, our stake trek chairmen’s then we will have a short video presentation put together by bro and sister Spencer, bro Conrad, and members of the youth committee.

Robby Nelson- the pioneers were amazing people and I appreciate the sacrifices they made for us to be here this day. A few years ago a several of the wards in our stake went to Martians Cove to trek and had a great experience. we will not be going to the cove but will be learning and relearning the stories of those brave pioneers as we learn that we too can do hard things in our lives. Our goal is to increase our testimonies of the savior…whatever it takes. Sister Jackie Foutz has done a trek before and we have ask her to bear her testimony of her experiences. One of our friends JJ from alta vista ward has already started his fundraising and we have ask him to take a minute to tell us his ideas. After witch Pres Udall will bear his testimony and our closing prayer will be given by Clark Southwick. After the closing prayer please go to the culture hall for refreshments and find your ward coordinators to fill out the paperwork we need to get the trek going. I would to add my testimony……I know…..Amen
